The AC To AC SSR-60AA Solid State Relay Module is designed to operate within the voltage range of 80-250VAC input and 24-380VAC output, capable of switching current loads up to 86A. Unlike electromechanical relays, solid state relays (SSRs) do not contain moving parts, offering improved reliability and longevity.

SSRs are available in various types, including photo-coupled SSRs, transformer-coupled SSRs, and hybrid SSRs. A photo-coupled SSR, like the SSR-60AA, is controlled by a low voltage signal that is optically isolated from the load. The control signal energizes an LED, which activates a photo-sensitive diode. Subsequently, the diode triggers a back-to-back thyristor, silicon-controlled rectifier, or MOSFET transistor to switch the load. The SSR-60AA Solid State Relay Module utilizes a zero-cross trigger control method for efficient switching operations. Each relay module is furnished with four screw terminals suitable for ring or fork connectors. Additionally, a plastic cover is provided to safeguard the terminals, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
