The 60mm Aluminium Mecanum Wheels SET, consisting of 2 Left and 2 Right wheels, represents the smallest size within our range of Aluminum mecanum wheels. Each wheel features a series of rollers set at a 45° rotational axis parallel to the wheel’s rotational axis. This set of 60mm mecanum wheels facilitates multidirectional movement, offering 2 left wheels and 2 right wheels for versatile usage. Universal hubs are provided for seamless connection between the wheels and the motor. Simply integrate your drive motor, controller boards, and batteries to complete the setup.
Utilizing all four wheels to move simultaneously in forward and backward directions enables the robot to navigate forward and backward. When the wheels on each side rotate in opposite directions, the robot moves laterally without altering its orientation. Various speed and direction combinations allow the robot to maneuver in different directions effectively. A key advantage of Mecanum wheels over Omnidirectional wheels is that all four wheels exert force when the robot moves forward, backward, left, or right without changing its orientation.
