The A3967 Stepper Motor Driver for Arduino is the latest version of the EasyDriver v44, co-designed with Brian Schmalz, offering enhanced flexibility and control over stepper motors compared to its predecessors.
Features:
- Simple to use stepper motor driver
- Compatible with most microcontrollers that output a digital 0 to 5V pulse (or 0 to 3.3V pulse with SJ2 closed)
- Requires a 7V to 30V power supply for the motor
- Onboard voltage regulator for the digital interface, selectable between 5V and 3.3V
- Suitable for driving bi-polar motors and motors wired as bi-polar (4, 6, or 8 wire stepper motors)
- Microstep select (MS1 and MS2) pins for adjusting micro-stepping resolution
- Sleep and enable pins for additional control
This stepper motor driver is designed for ease of use, requiring a simple connection to a 4-wire stepper motor and a microcontroller for precision motor control. It supports bi-polar motors and motors wired as bi-polar (4, 6, or 8 wire stepper motors). The A3967 microstep select pins (MS1 and MS2) allow adjustments to the micro-stepping resolution for increased precision.
With sleep and enable pins also available for further control, the A3967 Stepper Motor Driver is a versatile choice for various stepper motor applications.
Package Includes:
