DHT22/AM2302 Digital Temperature & Humidity Sensor

The DHT22/AM2302 is a low-cost digital sensor that measures temperature and humidity using a capacitive humidity sensor and a thermistor. It outputs a digital signal on the data pin, eliminating the need for analog input pins.

This sensor is easy to use but requires precise timing to capture data. The main limitation is that it only provides new data every 2 seconds, meaning readings can be up to 2 seconds old. To connect it, attach the first pin on the left to 3-5V power, the second pin to your data input, and the rightmost pin to the ground. It uses a single wire to send data but is not compatible with Dallas One Wire. For multiple sensors, each must have its own data pin.
