This straight bar load cell, sometimes referred to as a strain gauge, can convert up to 5 kg of pressure (force) into an electrical signal. The load cell measures changes in electrical resistance that occur in response to, and proportional to, the strain (e.g., pressure or force) applied to the bar.
Features:
- Capacity: Can measure up to 5 kg of force.
- Material: Made from aluminum alloy.
- Accuracy: Capable of reading weights with a capacity up to 5 kg.
- Connection: Four lead wires for connecting to an HX711 A/D Pressure Sensor.
- Voltage: Operates with a driving voltage of 5-10V.
- Output: Produces an output voltage that varies with the applied force.
Applications:
- Weight Measurement: Determine how heavy an object is.
- Weight Monitoring: Track changes in an object’s weight over time.
- Presence Detection: Sense the presence of an object by measuring the strain or load applied to a surface.
Installation:
- Fix one end of the sensor through the screw hole.
- Leave the other end in a floating state.
- Ensure the gravitational force is applied in the direction indicated by the label.
- Do not directly push the white plastic cover to avoid damaging the sensor.
Usage:
The load cell is easy to integrate with an HX711 A/D Pressure Sensor, making it suitable for various applications such as electronic weighing scales, kitchen scales, and other devices that require precise weight measurement.
