The TP4056 1A Li-Ion Battery Charging Board with Type C and Current Protection is a compact module designed for charging single-cell 3.7V lithium-ion (Li-Ion) batteries, such as 16550 cells, that lack their own protection circuits. Utilizing the TP4056 charger IC and DW01 battery protection IC, this module provides a 1A charge current and automatically cuts off when charging is complete.

In addition to overcharge protection, the module safeguards the battery by disconnecting the load if the voltage drops below 2.4V, preventing damage from excessively low voltage. It also offers protection against over-voltage and reverse polarity connections, though it is crucial to ensure correct connections during the initial setup to avoid damage.
