In contrast, this display is a genuine TFT, with the ST7735R TFT driver capable of showcasing full 18-bit color (262,144 shades).
Consistency is guaranteed as the LCD consistently incorporates the same ST7735R driver chip, eliminating concerns about code compatibility between different units.
The breakout design includes a soldered TFT display with a delicate flex-circuit connector, an ultra-low-dropout 3.3V regulator, and a 3/5V level shifter.
