12V DC 1/2″ Electric Solenoid Water Air Valve Switch (Normally Closed)

The 12V Solenoid Water Air Valve Switch (Normally Closed) with a 1/2” Nominal NPT size controls fluid flow, whether liquid or air, serving as a valve in high-pressure fluid systems. Ideal for applications like robotic gardening projects, this liquid valve is normally closed. When a 12V DC supply is applied to the two terminals, the valve opens, allowing fluid to pass through. There are two ½” (Nominal NPT) outlets.

The flow rate specifications are as follows:
– Flow rate is ≥1.8L/min when the water pressure is 0.02MPa.
– Flow rate is ≥20L/min when the water pressure is 0.8MPa.

The solenoid valve operates with an electronically controlled solenoid coil powered by a DC 12-volt supply. Being normally closed, the valve opens to allow fluid flow as soon as it is powered ON and closes to stop/block the flow when the supply voltage is removed. This makes it a convenient and efficient component for fluid control in various applications.

 While Connecting Valve in Flow pipeline, you need to mind the Input and Output direction of the valve. It will work only if you connect it in the right direction. (Hint: Inside the value, at one side you will find the filter this is the input side of the value)

Please note it is not suitable for use with gravity fed systems.
