12V RGB 5050 SMD LED Strip- 5Meter

The 12V RGB 5050 SMD LED Strip spans 5 meters and boasts an impressive array of 300 bright, RGB LEDs. Drawing a total power of 22.5 watts, this strip features 5050-sized SMD RGB LEDs and operates from a 12VDC power source. Its flexible design enables bending to accommodate curves and corners, offering versatile installation options. Please note that a minimum output of 2 amps from the adapter is required to power the full 5-meter strip adequately. It’s crucial to avoid underpowered power supplies, as they can lead to power loss along the strip and mismatched colors due to inadequate power distribution to certain diodes.

Unlike regular LED strips with the same number of LED modules, this RGB strip contains three times the number of light-emitting diodes, as each of the 300 modules incorporates red, blue, and green LEDs. Consequently, when set to white at full brightness, the RGB strips consume nearly three times the power compared to regular white strips. For instance, a 5-meter roll of RGB LEDs typically utilizes around 2.8 amps at 12VDC. Thus, connecting three of these strips end-to-end would necessitate approximately an 8.4-amp power supply.

Additionally, we offer a 44 Keys RGB IR Remote Controller specifically designed for 12V 5050 RGB LED Strips, providing convenient and intuitive control over lighting settings.

Note: These are NOT individually addressable LED strips. Each color has its own separate 12VDC circuit. For a total of three 12VDC circuits (R G B). You can power these strips off of regular 12V DC if you don’t need advanced flashing patterns or color mixing.
