The 30A Range Current Sensor Module ACS712 incorporates a precise, low-offset, linear Hall circuit with a copper conduction path located near the surface of the die. The current flowing through this copper path generates a magnetic field, which the Hall IC converts into a proportional voltage.

Current sensing and control are essential in a wide range of applications, such as over-current protection circuits, battery chargers, switching mode power supplies, digital watt meters, and programmable current sources.

Based on the ACS712 sensor, this module can accurately detect both AC and DC currents up to 30A. The current signal can be easily read via the analog I/O port of an Arduino, making it straightforward to integrate into various projects.
