Presenting a 3mm Red DIP LED. As a two-lead semiconductor light source, an LED emits light upon activation. When a suitable voltage is applied to the LED’s terminals, electrons can recombine with electron holes within the device, releasing energy in the form of photons. This phenomenon is referred to as electroluminescence. The color of the emitted light is determined by the energy bandgap of the semiconductor material.
Package Includes:
50 x 3mm Red DIP LED.
