The 8 Channel Bi-Directional Logic Level Converter Module is a versatile device designed to safely convert signals between different logic voltage levels. It efficiently steps down 5V signals to 3.3V and steps up 3.3V to 5V simultaneously. Additionally, it is compatible with 2.8V and 1.8V devices, offering flexibility for various applications.

What sets this logic level converter apart from previous versions is its ability to handle high and low voltages safely on the same channel. Each level converter on the module can convert 4 pins on the high side to 4 pins on the low side, with two inputs and two outputs provided for each side, ensuring ease of use.

To power the board, it requires two voltage sources corresponding to the high and low voltages used in your system. Connect the high voltage (e.g., 5V) to the ‘HV’ pin, the low voltage (e.g., 3.3V) to the ‘LV’ pin, and ground from the system to the ‘GND’ pin.

Note:
– Example configuration: High voltage: 5V, Low voltage: 3.3V
– Connect the 5V power supply to the ‘HV’ pin
– Connect the 3.3V power supply to the ‘LV’ pin
– Connect the negative terminals of both power supplies to the ‘GND’ pin
– LVx inputs and outputs are 3.3V TTL, HVx inputs and outputs are 5V TTL, and LVx and HVx support bidirectional transfers.
