The ADXL335 is a compact, thin, low-power, 3-axis accelerometer with signal-conditioned voltage outputs. The ADXL335 Module 3-axis Analog Output Accelerometer measures acceleration with a full-scale range of ±3 g.
It can measure static acceleration, such as gravity in tilt-sensing applications, as well as dynamic acceleration from motion, shock, or vibration. This breakout board includes an onboard voltage regulator and is compatible with both 3.3V and 5V power supplies.
An accelerometer is an electro-mechanical device that measures acceleration forces. These forces can be static, like the constant force of gravity, or dynamic, resulting from movement or vibration of the accelerometer.
