Introducing the Alarm Finder Tracer Buzzer for RC Lost Aircraft—a straightforward device that effortlessly plugs into any servo/Rx port, instantly detecting the loss of the TX signal and emitting a robust 85dB alarm.
This gadget proves invaluable for various scenarios, such as alerting you if the RX power supply is inadvertently left on in the pits or assisting in locating a model hidden in tall grass. To activate the alarm, simply turn off your TX, and within minutes, the unmistakable sound will guide you to your model. This cost-effective solution effectively addresses a common issue in the RC community.
Here’s how it operates:
The RC Lost Airplane Finder, suitable for helicopters, parkflyers, gliders, and other aircraft, is remarkably user-friendly. Connect the alarm between the servo and the receiver, essentially functioning as a servo extension cord. Upon turning on your TX, you’ll hear two beeping sounds.
Avoid moving any control stick on the TX or turn off the TX altogether. After 5 minutes, a continuous beep will commence, ceasing only when you turn on your TX or make a control stick movement. If the continuous beep is neglected for approximately 2 minutes, it will intensify into a louder ‘V’ sound.
To deactivate the alarm, disconnect it from the receiver. Prior to turning on the TX, ensure correct polarity for seamless operation. This device provides a practical and efficient solution to the common challenge of locating lost RC aircraft.
