It incorporates additional hardware improvements and enhancements based on community feedback. The adoption of the STM32F103RCT6 chip offers advantages over the GD32F103RCT6 chip.

Notable enhancements include the provision of two Z-axis interface ports, expanding compatibility beyond the printers already supported by the V1.x boards. Moreover, the board is compatible with CR-10S, CR-10 S4, CR-10 S5, Ender 5, Ender 5 Pro, and Ender 5 Plus models from Creality.

The upgraded heat sink of the BIGTREETECH SKR MINI E3 V3.0 enhances heat dissipation, bolstering the drive’s heat dissipation capacity. Additionally, thermistor inputs are safeguarded from short circuits to Vin. A third PWM-controlled cooling fan output is added to enhance circuit board protection and prolong motherboard lifespan.

Furthermore, the PC communication USB interface has been upgraded from Mini USB to Micro USB B, offering improved adaptability and connectivity.
