CJMCU-34725 TCS34725 Color Sensor RGB Module

The CJMCU-34725 TCS34725 Color Sensor RGB Module provides digital return values for red, green, blue (RGB) and bright light sensing. It integrates a color-sensitive photodiode with an infrared shading filter to minimize the impact of infrared light on the sensor’s readings, ensuring more accurate color management.

This sensor features high sensitivity, a wide dynamic range, and IR shading filters, making it ideal for color-sensitive applications under varying lighting conditions and through attenuating materials. The TCS34725 is particularly well-suited for applications requiring precise color measurements, even behind darkened glass, thanks to its impressive 3,800,000:1 dynamic range with adjustable integration time and gain.

An on-chip IR blocking filter localized to the color sensing photodiodes helps to minimize the IR spectral component of the incoming light, ensuring that color measurements more closely match human vision, as humans do not see infrared light. This feature ensures that the color readings are true to life, making the TCS34725 an excellent choice for projects requiring accurate color sensing.
