The CYTRON Smart Drive MDDS30 Dual is a cutting-edge addition to the smart series of motor drivers, meticulously crafted to propel medium power brushed DC motors with an impressive current capacity of up to 80A peak (for a few seconds) and a continuous 30A for each channel. This driver is purpose-built for steering differential drive mobile robots, primarily controlled by an RC controller.

In addition to RC control, the MDDS30 offers versatility by being adaptable to input from an analog joystick or microcontroller (PWM, Serial). The MOSFETs are precision-switched at 18 KHz, ensuring a smooth and quiet operation without any irritating whining sounds.

Adding to its intelligence, the MDDS30 is equipped with a microcontroller unit, elevating its functionality with smart features such as multiple input modes, current limit management, and thermal protection. This integration enhances the overall efficiency and reliability of the motor driver, making it a robust choice for various applications in robotics and automation.
