1.  Begin by removing the potentiometer. This can be done by detaching it from one side of the circuit board or positioning the potentiometer side down based on your requirements.
2.  Next, connect the 0-5V DC control signal to the middle pin labeled 0-5V.
3.  Lastly, link the ground wire of the 0-5V DC control signal to the connection point on the pin labeled GND.
