The DFRobot FireBeetle 2 Board ESP32-S3 (N16R8) is an advanced AIoT microcontroller equipped with onboard Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities. The main controller is based on the ESP32-S3-WROOM-1-N16R8 module, featuring 16MB Flash and 8MB PSRAM for enhanced data storage capacity. With its ESP32-S3 chip, the module excels in neural network computing and signal processing, making it ideal for applications like speech recognition and image recognition.

The FireBeetle 2 ESP32-S3 is designed with convenience in mind, offering an onboard camera interface for seamless camera integration. It incorporates an independent camera power supply circuit, minimizing interference from other signals. The included OV2640 camera boasts 2 megapixels, a 68° field of view, and a maximum resolution of 1600*1200. The board also simplifies the connection to a screen with its onboard, user-friendly GDI, reducing the complexity of wiring.

This microcontroller features a power management function, enabling users to charge a Li-ion battery and control hardware power states. Supporting both WiFi and Bluetooth 5 (LE) dual-mode communication, the FireBeetle 2 ESP32-S3 facilitates networking with reduced complexity. It supports Bluetooth Mesh protocol and Espressif WiFi Mesh, ensuring stable communication with a broader coverage area. The inclusion of the Matter protocol allows developers to create industrial-standard smart home devices for a diverse range of IoT and AIoT scenarios.

Programming the FireBeetle 2 ESP32-S3 is flexible, as it can be done using Arduino IDE, ESP-IDF, and MicroPython. Both C and Python languages are supported, providing versatility for developers working on various projects.
