“The TTP223B Digital Sensor Module is a capacitive touch switch module built around the TTP223B touch-sensing IC. It eliminates the need for traditional push-type keys, offering a hassle-free touch experience.

This module operates on the TTP223B chipset, defaulting to a low-output, low-power state. Upon sensing a touch within the circular marked region, it swiftly transitions to a high-output, responsive state. After 12 seconds of inactivity, it reverts to its low-power mode.

Mountable on non-metallic surfaces like plastic, glass, or acrylic, this module allows for concealed key placement within walls and desks. With a thin paper covering, or by accurately locating the touch area, buttons can be discretely positioned within various surfaces.

The module features a simple three-pin interface: GND (ground), VCC (power supply), and SIG (digital signal output). A green LED serves as a power indicator, illuminating upon power-up. The touch-sensitive area, resembling a fingerprint icon, triggers upon touch. Additionally, four M2 screws positioning holes with a diameter of 2.2mm facilitate easy module installation and inter-module combination.”
