FrSky X8R 8/16ch Full Duplex Telemetry Receiver

The X8R is a more compact 8-channel receiver that offers enhanced capabilities. The new Smart Port supports both the new hub-less sensors and the older hub analog sensors.

The X8R provides 8 standard servo outputs, but you can access all 16 channels using the Sbus line with Sbus-supported servos or a FrSky S.BUS Decoder. Alternatively, you can use two X8R receivers together, with channels 1-8 on the first and 9-16 on the second, synced for full 16-channel operation.

The X8 protocol is backward compatible. In D8 mode, it works with the DHT, DJT, DFT, and DHT-U transmitter modules, offering access to 8 channels while still utilizing the new Smart Port and digital sensors. The new “PCB” antenna design offers up to a 20% gain in range over older antennas, and the X8R is firmware upgradeable.

This receiver is perfect for the FrSky Taranis with its built-in XJT Module or any D8 system to take advantage of the new digital Smart Port sensors.
