Hobbywing Skywalker-40A ESC Despite being a low-cost option, the Hobbywing Skywalker-40A is manufactured in the Hobbywing Factory and is not an OEM knockoff. In order to reduce costs, it employs Linear mode BEC rather than Switching mode BEC (BEC is the circuit that powers the servos and other electronics on the heli). All things considered, the Hobbywing Skywalker-40A manages to supply the engine with 40A of power; it’s just a little bit hotter than other 40A.
