Introducing the HX1838 VS1838 NEC Infrared IR Wireless Remote Control Sensor Module designed for use with Arduino. The sensor utilizes the HX1838, offering high sensitivity and operates at a voltage of 5V. It outputs in digital form. The VCC can be powered with an external voltage ranging from 3.3V to 5V, making it compatible with both 5V and 3.3V microcontrollers.

The theoretical testing distance of the kit is approximately 5-8 meters. However, the actual application range depends on ambient factors and potential obstacles like diaphragms, glass, or other materials.

The receiving head features HX1838 and includes a power indicator that lights up during operation, receiving any remote coding data at a frequency of 38K.

This is a new ultra-thin 38K universal infrared IR Remote Control, supporting NEC encoding format for 1-21-key remote control applications. It finds applications in USB port stereos, car MP3 players, foot baths, lighting systems, digital photo frames, microcontroller development boards, learning boards, and more.
