IIC/I2C Serial Interface Adapter Module

Introducing the IIC/I2C Serial Interface Adapter Module, compliant with RoHS standards.

This adapter module serves as a convenient solution for connecting a standard 16×2 or 20×4 Character Display Module that supports 4-bit mode to an I2C serial interface. Most Character Modules available on the market and sold on our site already support 4-bit mode, ensuring compatibility.

Equipped with a PCF8574 I2C chip, this module efficiently converts I2C serial data to parallel data for seamless integration with LCD displays. Numerous examples and tutorials are available online for using this board with Arduino. Simply search for “Arduino LCD PCF8574” to find resources and projects.

By default, the I2C address is set to 0x3F, but it can be easily customized using the three solder jumpers provided on the board. This flexibility allows for the control of up to three LCD displays via a single I2C bus, with each display having its own unique address.
