The MAX4466 Electret Microphone Amplifier with Adjustable Gain Module comes fully assembled and tested, featuring a 20-20KHz electret microphone soldered onto the board. Utilizing the Maxim MAX4466 op-amp, specifically designed for amplification tasks, this amplifier offers excellent power supply noise rejection, resulting in high-quality sound with minimal noise or distortion.
This module is well-suited for various projects, including voice modulation, audio recording/sampling, and audio-reactive projects utilizing FFT. It features a small trimmer pot on the back for adjusting the gain, allowing you to set the gain from 25x to 125x.
With an output ranging from about 200mVpp (suitable for line-level input without clipping) to up to 1Vpp (ideal for microcontroller ADC readings), this module provides flexibility for different applications. Additionally, the output is rail-to-rail, ensuring that even with loud sounds, the output can reach up to 5Vpp without distortion.
