This NE555 Delay Monostable Switch Module offers precise timing control, leveraging the NE555 chip’s high-performance timing CPU design. Equipped with power indicator LEDs and timing indication LEDs, it covers a wide range of timing intervals, from microseconds to extended hours.
Designed for versatile applications, it’s particularly useful in vehicle equipment to prevent sudden ignition or protect against high currents that could damage components.
Functioning as a monostable generator, this module allows for adjustable delay times ranging from 0 to 10 seconds, achievable via the potentiometer or capacitance adjustments. It’s capable of handling devices below 220V/10A. The NE555 chip ensures stable and accurate time delays or oscillations. Additional terminals are available for triggering or resetting, adding flexibility to its operation.
In time delay mode, precise timing control is achieved through an external resistor and capacitor. For oscillation as an astable oscillator, the free-running frequency and duty cycle are accurately managed with two external resistors and a capacitor. The module can be triggered and reset on falling waveforms, with the output circuit capable of sourcing or sinking up to 200mA or driving TTL circuits.
