This GPS Module is required if you are using a drone to navigate a distance while you are on the go. GPS drones have a GPS module installed, which enables them to track their position in relation to a satellite network that is in orbit. The drone may accomplish tasks like autonomous flight, waypoint navigation, position hold, and home return by connecting to signals from these satellites.
Based on the NEO 6M GPS, this is a full GPS module. This item has a larger integrated 25 x 25mm active GPS antenna with a UART TTL connector and employs the most recent technology to provide the best positional information available. Additionally, a battery is supplied so that you can get a GPS lock more quickly. This is a newer GPS module compatible with the Arduino Mega V2. With the best position data available, this GPS module enhances the functionality of your Ardupilot or other multirotor control platform. The GPS module has serial TTL output, it has four pins: TX, RX, VCC, and GND. You can download the u-center software for configuring the GPS and changing the settings and much more. It is really good software (see link below).
NOTE: NEO-6M GPS Module is not compatible with APM 2.8 Flight Controller
