Original Prusa CW1S Curing and Washing Machine

The Original Prusa CW1S is a versatile curing and washing machine designed to streamline and expedite the post-processing phase of resin 3D printing. While it seamlessly complements the Original Prusa SL1S MSLA 3D printer, its compatibility extends to any desktop SLA machine. Beyond post-processing, the CW1S enhances printing performance by preheating resin before printing, optimizing both the printing process and final part properties.

For washing printed models, the CW1S employs a stainless steel tank filled with isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and a magnetic propeller that generates a whirlpool effect for thorough model cleaning. The build platform, along with the model, conveniently attaches to the tank lid, and for smaller parts, a metal basket is provided. The use of a magnetic propeller ensures a delicate yet efficient cleaning process for printed models.

Following the washing stage, the CW1S employs hot air for model drying, preventing resin residue stains. Subsequently, the parts undergo curing with UV light, achieving final mechanical and chemical properties, as well as a smooth surface finish. Remarkably, the entire post-processing stage takes only about 10–15 minutes with the CW1S, offering a cleaner and more convenient experience for users. The machine is equipped with intuitive controls, featuring an LCD screen and an operational knob, in line with the user-friendly design typical of Prusa devices.
