The OV5647 5MP 1080P IR-Cut Camera is a custom-designed add-on for Raspberry Pi 3/4. It connects through a small socket on the board’s surface using the dedicated CSI interface. This camera supports night vision, works with all Pi revisions, and features a 5-megapixel OV5647 sensor with a top resolution of 1080p.

Why the IR-Cut Sensor matters: Regular cameras may produce reddish pictures in daylight due to the lack of an IR filter. The RPi IR-cut camera captures better quality images, up to 1080p, in both day and night.
