The HC-SR501 PIR Motion Sensor Detector Module allows you to detect motion, typically from a human body, within the sensor’s range. It is commonly referred to as a “PIR sensor,” “Pyroelectric sensor,” “Passive Infrared sensor,” or “IR Motion sensor.”
This module features an onboard pyroelectric sensor, conditioning circuitry, and a dome-shaped Fresnel lens. It includes potentiometers for adjusting delay time and sensitivity. It is compatible with ARDUINO, RASPBERRY PI, AVR, PIC, 8051, and other platforms.
