PIXY Pan and Tilt Mechanism for Pixy Smart Vision Cameras

This is the Pixy Smart Vision Camera Pan and Tilt Mechanism. It gives Pixy two axes of motion, which can be useful for tracking objects that are out of its field of vision. PixyMon comes with a built-in pan/tilt program, making it easy to assemble and begin going quickly.

You may find detailed assembly instructions on the Charmed Labs wiki. This kit’s “hello world” demo introduces Pixy and functions without an Arduino. The pan/tilt can be moved without a battery since it can be powered by a USB cable, but the cable you use needs to be at least 4 feet long.

There are lots of different types of fasteners included in this kit:

• 4-40 fastener long and short.
• Servo horn fastener.
• Tapping fastener long and short.

Note:

• The pan/tilt mechanism is not compatible with Pixy for LEGO Mindstorms. It comes in a kit and requires some assembly.
• The package does not contain the Camera sensor you have to purchase it separately.
