Solid pultruded carbon fiber rods, measuring 4mm in diameter and 1000mm in length, deliver exceptional strength and stiffness, attributed to their composition featuring 95% unidirectional carbon fiber running longitudinally. The rods are crafted using continuous carbon fibers embedded in a resin matrix, which can be either vinyl-ester or epoxy.

These carbon fiber solid rods find diverse applications, notably in aerospace and motor racing. However, their widespread use extends to recreational sports equipment such as kites and radio-controlled models.

Pultrusion, the manufacturing process employed, entails pulling continuous strands of carbon fiber through resin and a former, with the resin curing simultaneously. This seamless process results in the creation of continuous lengths of fiber-reinforced sections.
