Raspberry Pi TV HAT

The Raspberry Pi TV HAT enables the reception of digital terrestrial TV broadcast systems, including DVB-T and DVB-T2, on a Raspberry Pi.

With this board, you can view TV directly on a Raspberry Pi or set up a TV server to stream received TV over a network to other devices. The TV HAT can be used as a backend (server) on all Raspberry Pi models, but for optimal performance when receiving and viewing TV, it is recommended to use a Raspberry Pi 2, 3, or 3+.

The package includes a set of mechanical spacers, a 40-way header, and an aerial adaptor. The Raspberry Pi TV HAT is compatible with the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+, Raspberry Pi Zero W, and older models like the Raspberry Pi 2 and 3.

The TV HAT features a Sony CXD2880 TV tuner, supporting DVB-T and the second-generation DVB-T2 TV standards. This add-on expands the functionality of your Raspberry Pi, making it a versatile tool for both TV reception and network streaming applications.
