The Grove AI HAT for Edge Computing is built around the Speed MAix M1 AI Module, which features the Kendryte K210 processor. This affordable yet powerful AI HAT assists the Raspberry Pi in running AI tasks at the edge.

Additionally, it can operate independently for edge computing applications. The MAix M1 is a robust RISC-V 600MHz AI module, featuring a dual-core 64-bit CPU, a 230GMULps 16-bit KPU (Neural Network Processor), an FPU (Floating Point Unit) supporting both DP and SP, and an APU (Audio Processor) supporting 8 microphones.
