The SparkFun 9DoF IMU Breakout integrates the impressive features of Invensense’s ICM-20948 into a Qwiic-enabled breakout board, complete with a logic shifter and exposed GPIO pins for all your motion-sensing needs. The ICM-20948 is an ultra-low-power, I2C and SPI-enabled 9-axis motion tracking device, perfect for smartphones, tablets, wearable sensors, and IoT applications. Our convenient Qwiic system eliminates the need for soldering to connect it to your system. However, we have also provided 0.1″-spaced pins if you prefer to use a breadboard.

The ICM-20948 includes:
3-Axis Gyroscope: Four selectable ranges.
3-Axis Accelerometer: Four selectable ranges.
3-Axis Magnetometer: Full scale range (FSR) of ±4900µT.

Additionally, the ICM-20948 features a Digital Motion Processor that offloads the computation of motion-sensing algorithms from the detectors, ensuring optimal sensor performance. We have broken out all the pin functionalities of the ICM-20948 to GPIO and labeled them with I2C on the front and SPI on the back for easy identification.
