The USB to RS485 TTL Serial Converter Adapter FT232 conforms to USB 2.0 standards, ensuring backward compatibility, and aligns perfectly with standard RS485 specifications. It features automatic data flow control with direction control, enabling seamless data transfer. The converter automatically detects and controls data transfer direction with baud rates ranging from 300 to 9216000bps.

Supporting multipoint connections, each converter facilitates the connection of up to 32 RS485 interface devices. Additionally, it includes TVS tube Interface Protection and USB self-recovery protection for enhanced durability and reliability.

This converter enables bidirectional serial communication signal conversion between RS485 and a personal computer’s USB port, utilizing a virtual serial COM port. Powered via USB, it employs FT232RL+75176 components and can accommodate up to 32 devices on the bus.

Four jumpers facilitate the connection between the USB interface and the RS485 interface. Removing these jumpers allows the USB interface to function as a TTL Level Serial port.
