VGA666 RPI Dtoverlays Module

This module is also known as the Gert VGA Adapter or the Passive VGA Adapter 666, designed for use with Raspberry Pi models A+/B+/2B/3B/Zero. While the Raspberry Pi comes with an HDMI port for display connectivity, if your monitor only supports VGA, you’ll need an adapter. These adapters perform digital-to-analog conversion, which can make them expensive and power-intensive.

Beyond facilitating native VGA monitor connections, the adapter enables independent operation of the DPI interface alongside HDMI. However, software support for dual screens is still in development. The performance of running two screens at maximum resolution will rely on the GPIO speed.
