VS1053 MP3 Recording Module Development Board with Onboard Recording Function

The VS1053 MP3 recording module development board offers onboard recording functionality, capable of recording and playing back various music formats, including support for OGG encoding for real-time recording purposes.

In addition to its playback capabilities, the VS1053 module supports real-time OGG encoding recording. It interfaces via SPI, with control signal lines readily accessible. The module features a built-in TF SD card slot for storing recorded data and facilitating playback at the user’s convenience. Alternatively, recorded MP3 files can be easily transferred to other devices via an SD card.

Equipped with two separate 3.5 mm jacks for audio Out and Microphone In, along with an onboard microphone for recording, this MP3 shield offers versatile audio connectivity options. The presence of a capacitor filter and a 12.288MHz crystal oscillator ensures stable operation. An onboard power indicator light allows for easy monitoring of the module’s status.

Furthermore, the onboard 3.3V and 2.5V LDO chip AMS-1117 provides a current output of 800mA, ensuring sufficient power supply for the module’s operation. With a single power supply onboard delivering +5VDC, the module maintains a constant and stabilized voltage throughout the circuit.
