This is the Waveshare 2-Channel Isolated RS485 Expansion HAT for Raspberry Pi.

Specifically designed for Raspberry Pi, this dual-channel isolated RS485 extension board incorporates the SC16IS752+SP3485 solution, featuring built-in protection circuits including power supply isolation, ADI magnetic isolation, and TVS diode.

The expansion board utilizes the SC16IS752 as its controller, a high-performance dual-channel UART expansion chip supporting SPI and I2C interface communication. This module interfaces with Raspberry Pi via SPI, providing a convenient and reliable solution for RS485 communication needs while ensuring isolation and protection for enhanced reliability and safety.
