The Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 shares the same computing power as the Raspberry Pi 4, but it lacks ports and is intended for use in embedded systems. Essentially, it’s a stripped-down version of the Raspberry Pi 4. To use the Compute Module 4, you need a carrier board, which provides the necessary ports and connections.
The Compute Module 4 IO Board is designed to accompany the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4. It serves as both a development system for the Compute Module 4 and as an embedded board for integration into end products. The IO Board provides the necessary ports and interfaces for connecting peripherals, making it easier to develop and deploy projects using the Compute Module 4.
