XL4015 5A Step Down Adjustable Power Supply with LED Voltmeter

The XL4015 5A Step Down Adjustable Power Supply with LED Voltmeter module is a reliable 180 kHz fixed frequency PWM buck (step-down) DC/DC module, engineered to handle a 5A load efficiently while maintaining low ripple and superior line and load regulation. Featuring a voltmeter display, it showcases both input and output voltages, which can be calibrated for accuracy.

The voltmeter offers convenient calibration, allowing users to toggle between input and output voltages with an indicator. It also provides the option to shut down the voltmeter. The module employs connection terminals for easy wiring.

With applications ranging from battery and power transformer setups to DIY adjustable regulated power supplies, LCD monitors, LCD TVs, portable instruments, and telecom/networking equipment, this module is versatile. It’s suitable for scenarios where the input voltage exceeds the output voltage, such as 24V vehicle notebook power supplies and industrial equipment buck converters.

This module boasts adjustable output voltage and current, functioning as a dedicated charger for lithium batteries (Li-Ion, LiPo), with the ability to control both voltage and current levels. For instance, it can step down from 12V to 3.3V, 12V to 5V, 24V to 5V, 24V to 12V, 36V to 24V, and so on.

To calibrate the voltmeter, follow these steps: while the onboard voltmeter displays the output voltage, long-press the right button for 2 seconds to enter the output voltage regulation mode, indicated by synchronous flashing of the voltmeter and the output voltage indicator light [OUT]. Similarly, for input voltage (IN), long-press the right button for 2 seconds. Adjust the voltage value by lightly pressing the right button to increase and the left button to decrease. Each press adjusts the voltage by 0.1V. After adjustment, long-press the right button for 2 seconds to exit the calibration mode, saving all parameters automatically.
