The Micro is a microcontroller board powered by the ATmega32U4, collaboratively developed with Adafruit. With integrated components supporting the microcontroller, connecting it to a computer using a micro-USB cable initiates the setup process. Its design allows for easy placement on a breadboard.

Notably, the Micro shares similarities with the Arduino Leonardo, leveraging the ATmega32U4’s built-in USB communication. This eliminates the necessity for a secondary processor. As a result, the Micro can function as a mouse and keyboard, alongside presenting itself to a connected computer as a virtual (CDC) serial/COM port.
