USB Ultrasonic Humidifiers Power Circuit Board with Atomizing Chip

The DC 5V Ultrasonic Humidifiers Power Circuit Board with Atomizing Chip is designed for use with a 20mm diameter atomization plate. This ultrasonic humidifier module operates on the principle of cavitation produced by sound waves. When provided with a DC 3-12V power supply, it functions as a mini ultrasonic atomizer.

Sound waves, consisting of compression and rarefaction phases, cause rapid movement that water droplets cannot sustain in their liquid state, leading to their immediate conversion into vapor. This transformation is driven by vibrations produced by a piezoelectric filament.

Ultrasonic Principle of Operation

A piezoelectric transducer immersed in water converts a high-frequency electronic signal into high-frequency mechanical oscillations. As the oscillation speed increases beyond the ability of the water particles to follow the oscillating surface, a momentary vacuum and strong compression occur, causing the explosive formation of air bubbles, a process known as cavitation.

During cavitation, broken capillary waves generate tiny droplets (approximately 1-micron diameter) that break the surface tension of the water. These droplets are quickly dispersed into the air as vapor, which is then absorbed into the air stream, effectively humidifying the environment.
